Workplace bullying behaviour can pose a health and safety risk. If you believe that your, or another person's health and safety is at risk from workplace bullying behaviour you should contact the health and safety team for assistance and advice on formal and informal options.
Formal complaints can be directed to the University of Newcastle Complaints Office staff who will discuss the complaint with you to ensure that issues raised are clear and those who will be involved have a shared understanding of the complaint. When documenting the formal complaint it should describe the decision, action or behaviour causing problems and state what action or outcome the complainant desires from the Complaints Resolution Process. The Complaints Manager can assist in drafting a formal complaint, if required.
