Starting links to important policies, information and responsibilities relating to teaching at this University. It provides information about creating your online environment, including considerations for converting current courses to online contexts.

Facilitating

Facilitating focuses on managing and facilitating your online course. Strategies for improving student engagement, motivation and behaviour in the online environment are discussed.

Communicating

In Communicating we outline strategies for effective online communications between students and staff. Different ways of communicating online are discussed with reference to Blackboard's communication tools.

Assessing

Assessing describes the qualities of good assessment. The various online assessment tools available through Blackboard are discussed, along with strategies for providing feedback and managing student grades.

Evaluating

In Evaluating, we outline the importance of effective evaluation in regard to course design, and teaching and learning.
