Research expertise
Over a period of 17 years (1995) I have extensive experience in supervising and examining numerous qualitative research methologies at all levels of study but particularly RHDs in both national and international arenas. In recognition of this examining work, in 2010, I was awarded an Honorary Adjunct Professorship at Charles Sturt University, Sydney, Australia. This was in association with The Centre of Professional Education.
During this period outlined above I have worked as an academic in three universities in England, Ireland and now Australia. Added to this profile I have studied in the USA at Columbia University, New York. While working in London, England I often led workshops in many European countries paticularly in Belgium, Sweden and Finland. I have therefore an elaborate network of international colleagues who work with me at different times and in different projects - researching, writing textbooks and book chapters.
One of my specialties over the last two decades has been the study and research in clinical reasoning in inter-disciplinary groups at Master's level and Doctoral level.
