Biography
I have published eight books (with two more currently accepted for publication, and one edited book); eight book chapters; nine refereed articles; and numerous minor publications. I have also mounted twelve research productions of dramas and operas, and five non-research productions. I have supervised to completion a large number of postgraduate students.
During three major periods of my career, administration rather than research was my major preoccupation other than teaching. I was Head of the discipline of Drama from 1981-5; Warden of the new Central Coast Campus from 1989-1993; and Assistant Dean (Postgraduate Studies) in the Faculty of Music, during a period when we build RHD numbers from 0 to 59 (1995-2005).
