Dr Melinda Hutchesson

Biography

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Priority Research Centre in Physical Activity and Nutrition and the School of Health Sciences, Faculty of Health at the University of Newcastle. I was awarded my PhD in August 2011, and Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics with Honours in 2004. I am an Accredited Practicing Dietitian.

My research focuses on the development and evaluation of weight management interventions delivered using innovative eHealth technologies such as the Internet and Smartphones.
