Research expertise

My research has a diverse background in plant, microbiological and human biology specialising in molecular biology and genetics. I have used this expertise to explore the conservation of hormone regulation in the processes of tadpole metamorphosis and relate this to human birth where the transition from aqueous to terrestrial environments is so similar yet so distant in evolutionary time terms.
