Teaching interests

Extensive curricula design including lead role in 2 important programs at Newcastle: the Master of Information Technology in 1997, and the Bachelor of Information Technology in 2002. The former was novel for its incorporation of strands ranging from computer engineering through to electronic business taught across Faculties. The latter is groundbreaking in its use of problem based learning.

Teaching has covered a range of postgraduate and undergraduate courses including: digital technologies for media and entertainment; information systems strategy and evaluation; databases; health informatics.
