Research expertise

Geoff’s research interests involve sperm cell biology with specific focus on how reactive oxygen species negatively impact the male germ cell including the processes which lead to DNA damage. His expertise includes analytical chemistry, bio-marker development, DNA damage detection and DNA chemistry. Understanding the origins and types of DNA damage in human spermatozoa and its consequences for human fertility, are his key research questions.
