Biography

Bo Bae is a lecturer in financial accounting. Her major research interests are the usefulness of financial and non-financial corporate disclosures to resolve the information asymmetry among various stakeholders. Since she joined the University of Newcastle in 2009, Bo Bae has been involved in teaching financial accounting and introductory accounting mainly at a postgraduate level.

Bo Bae has been involved in a number of collaborative research projects and received several research grants. The most recent research grant has been awarded by Accounting & Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ) in 2010 based on her joint research project entitled “An Assessment of the Quality and Market Implications of Carbon Emission Disclosure by Australian Listed Public Companies.”
