In addition to Medline, please note the following useful sites.
PredMedline
PreMedline provides basic information and abstracts before a record is indexed with MeSH heading(s) and added to MEDLINE.Pubmed
Medline is also available as PubMed. Start your search from PubMed using the MeSH Browser to ensure you use the correct Medical Subject Headings and sub-headings to search the database. (Medline via OVID provides links to full-text in the CORE Biomedical Collection, however there are sometimes problems accessing Medline because of licence limits).
MEDLINE is an excellent source for clinical medical information and much more. It covers all aspects of biomedicine, including the allied health fields; biological and physical sciences; and humanities and information science as they relate to medicine and health care. Citations are available for documents from over 4,600 journals published throughout the world, plus selected monographs of congresses or symposia (1976-1981). Abstracts are included for about 52% of the articles. Ovid provides links within Medline to the full text of 15 clinical medicine journals.
