Guide to Using the Deposit Form

The ADT process involves creating a PDF version of the thesis, using your web browser to fill in a submission form; then sending the form and thesis as an attachment to the Library's server where it will be accessible via the University of Newcastle.

The software behind the form will also automatically generate DC metadata which will be harvested regularly to form the national distributed ADT database.

This is a step-by-step presentation of the electronic thesis submission process. This describes how to :

complete the submission form. The submission form also contains the information necessary to identify and locate the thesis. The information includes, Author, Title, significant Keywords and the Abstract.
review details and make any necesary corrections
attach the files that contain the thesis. This is a similiar process to attaching files to email messages.
complete a brief evaluation form describing your experience.

Please discuss with your supervisor your intention to deposit your thesis in the ADT Program before completing the Thesis Deposit Form.
