CMS Training
The University uses Interwoven Teamsite Content Management System (CMS) to create, modify and manage the information on the University's website. Using a CMS gives users several advantages:
- Easy to use interface.
- Separation of content from design. This means the user does not need to be concerned with web design.
- Versioning - TeamSite keeps a copy of every change made to a web page, therefore content can be retrieved.
- Ability to create web pages without the use of HTML (universal web language.)
- Workflow support; The ability to have a chain of command in which content must be approved.
