Faculty/School/Division Vehicles

It is the responsibility of the Head of Faculty/School/Division to ensure that any person authorised to drive a University owned vehicle is the holder of a current drivers license acceptable in the State of New South Wales.

The Head of Faculty/School/Division has the responsibility to ensure that the correct servicing, maintenance and cleaning programs for vehicles are undertaken. Heads of Faculties/Schools/Divisions are also responsible for administrative procedures to control the operation of each vehicle.

In the event of an accident, it is the driver's responsibility to firstly inform the Police and then their Head of Faculty/School/Division. The Risk and Insurance Section in Business Services, Jo Humphris, ph. 4921 5328, should be notified relating to the claim.

The purchase and trade-in of all vehicles is arranged by the Contracts Management Unit ph. 4921 5339.
