Motor Vehicles

Charges for the Use of University Vehicles

The method of charging users of University vehicles is in accordance with the following procedures.

Motor vehicle costs are divided into two groups:

• All Group 1 costs are charged to the Motor Vehicles - Working Account (000-1106-6301).
  
  
• To cover Group 1 costs, Schools/Divisions will be charged the rate per kilometre shown below for all kilometres travelled, irrespective of the user.
  
  
• All Group 2 costs will be charged direct to owner School/Divison.

16 July 2001. University vehicles are categorised as follows:

The cost of replacement of Faculty/School/Division motor vehicles will be charged to Faculty/School/Division funds.
