How can university staff access the mentor program?

Staff from all areas of the university are welcome to recruit student assistants or helpers from the SOS Student mentors program.

In previous years, SOS Mentors have been recruited to assist in a number of activities including:

Participation in Campus Information Days
Extra Faculty sessions
‘UniStart’ Programs
School Visit Days
Additional International Orientation Activities

This is not an exhaustive list and there may be a number of other activities for which it could be appropriate to seek the assistance of SOS Mentors.

This participation is regarded as ‘above and beyond’ the usual role and responsibilities of the SOS Mentor Program, hence additional recognition and/or remuneration should be offered by the Faculty or Division that is requesting their assistance.
