At the University Council Strategy meeting in February 2010 it was determined that the five key priorities in the University of Newcastle 2007-2011 Strategic Plan remain sound and valid and as such preparation of a plan for the 2011-2015 period would be an exercise of refreshment and refinement rather than involving a wholesale change of strategic direction.
