Building Alterations, Air Conditioning, Furniture etc
- All requisitions for the following services are to be referred to Facilities Management for approval prior to orders being issued:
- Minor building alterations;
- Electrical installations;
- Air conditioning;
- Carpet, floor coverings;
- Curtains, blinds, whiteboards, pinboards;
- Graphics and signage;
- Office and Classroom furniture;
- Engagement of consultants (eg for preparation of schematic building proposals etc).
- Quotations for this type of work should not be obtained until the advice of Facilities Management staff has been obtained.
- Furniture requirements should also be discussed with Facilities Management or Procurement Section staff to ensure compliance with OH&S requirements and that on-going maintenance will be available.
