e-Tendering and Quotations

Commencing on 4/9/2006 the University is undertaking a 2 month pilot program using Tenderlink software for the purpose of streamlining the existing process of obtaining quotations and tenders.

A number of staff have already agreed to participate in the trial and we would welcome anyone else who is interested.

How the program will affect you

It will enable "Request for Quotations and Tenders" to be sent out and received electronically.
We anticipate this program will result in cost savings and process improvements for all participants, but more importantly, for Faculties/Divisional staff who are responsible for obtaining competitive quotations.
The program is very user friendly and only requires a 1 hour training session, to register please contact Brian Swetnam. Brian.Swetnam@newcastle.edu.au

We encourage staff participation in the pilot program as this will greatly assist us in the evaluation of the program.

Please note that quotations and tenders must be obtained in accordance with University's Procurement Policy and Procedure.
