Where: University of Newcastle, Brennan Room, Shortland Union
(Callaghan Campus)
Time: 9 am - 3.30 pm
About Enhancing the Links
The event is free to participants and is fully funded by the NDCO Program
Enhancing the Links is a FREE Hunter-Central Coast Forum and Service Expo for staff working with students and people with a disability - and for students and people with a disability - to learn about pathways, services and supports available across our Region for people with a disability or ongoing medical condition. It's more of an inside look at accessing or moving into particular pathways.
The event is a collaboration between the NDCO Program, the Newcastle Disability Employment Advisory Group, and the Hunter School Leavers Committee.
It's different to an expo, but builds upon those local events, in that it provides a range of information in a seminar format to students and people with a disability; and staff from school, VET, university, employment, apprenticeships, and related disability services, to better inform them in the transition process. (The Hunter School Leavers Expo will be held on Wednesday 27 July).
Details of all regional expos can be viewed here.
