At the top of the stairs are 3 half moon display shelves. These are for the most recent issues of journals received by the library. All the older issues of a journal are shelved in the journal collection area on the upper level fo the Library.

Journal is a Library term for serials, periodicals or even magazines. They cannot be borrowed but may be photocopied. When the next issue of the journal arrives the displayed issue will go onto the shelves with the rest of the journal of this particular title.

All journal holdings are in the catalogue so if you want to see if we hold a particular journal do a Journal Title search on NEWCAT.
