Welcome to the Huxley Library

The Huxley Library is located on Levels A and C of the Hunter Building on Callaghan Campus. It specialises in supporting the areas of Education, Nursing, Medical Radiation Science, Fine Art and Photography. It provides an open access computer lab for students, with access to the Internet, email, word processing, online journals and printing.

The Curriculum Resources & Media Collection (CRMC) contains DVDs, kits and curriculum based resources for trainee teachers and also incorporates a comprehensive teaching resources collection for Education students. The collection also includes a substantial children's literature collection. We also have a wide range of kits and non-book materials to support students from Health and Fine Art schools.  For Fine Art students we have available for loan art prints, posters and pictures. 

The Information Desk at Huxley library supports the information needs of staff and students of the University. We provide assistance with research and assignments, reference enquiries and advice on searching online databases.

Tour is currently unavailable.  It is being revamped to reflect the renovations that
have occurred at the Huxley Library in recent months.
