What is considered a reasonable portion?

Some examples of a reasonable portion that can be copied are:

Text or printed music	Text published in electronic form	Newspaper, magazine and journal articles
10% of the total number of pages, or: one chapter (if divided into chapters)	10% of the total number of words, or: one chapter	Can copy more than one article (from the same journal, magazine) if articles relate to the same subject
