Deleting references from your Library
References can be deleted from your Library by highlighting the reference in the Library Window and selecting References > Delete References (or pressing your keyboard's <Delete> button).
However, think carefully before you decide to delete a reference from your Library.
- Each record in your Library is assigned
a unique record number, which is used when you insert
references from your Library into your Word document.
- It is important that you do not delete
any references from your Library which you may have used
in your Word documents.
- If you delete a reference which you have used in a Word document, and you later need to reformat the references in that document for some reason, you will not be able to do so.
In view of this, you should also take care when deleting duplicate references from your Library.
