Importing Journal Term Lists

To import one of the Journal Term Lists that come with EndNote:

Open your Library, then select Tools > Define Term Lists... On the Lists tab, select Journals, then click Import List... Select the list you want to import from the Term Lists folder ( i.e. C:\Program Files\EndNote X\Term Lists), then click Open Click , then the Term Lists Window.

Users of the Vancouver referencing style will find it helpful to import the Medical journals term list

When entering journal titles in the Journal field, press Ctrl-1 on your keyboard to open up the Journal Term list. Double-click on the journal name you wish to insert.
