Example of EndNote Library WindowThe Reference List Panel

  • The EndNote X6 Reference List Panel can display up to 10 columns. You can change the columns available in the Panel.
  • There is no limit to the number of references included in an EndNote Library  (however, a maximum of 50,000 is recommended for efficient performance).
  • You can change the sort order of your Library by clicking on a column heading.
  • Each line within the Reference List Panel represents an individual reference.
  • References without authors are displayed first in the Reference List Panel, and when sorted alphabetically by author.
  • The number of references included in a Library is displayed at the bottom left of the Reference List Panel (as well as in the All References group).
