Example of EndNote Library WindowThe Library Window

  • The EndNote X Library Window can display up to 8 columns (5 are initially displayed when EndNote is installed). You can change the columns available in the Library Window.
  • There is no limit to the number of references included in an EndNote Library  (however, a maximum of 100,000 is recommended).
  • You can change the sort order of your Library by clicking on a column heading.
  • Each line within the Library Window represents an individual reference.
  • References without authors are displayed first in the Library Window, and when sorted alphabetically by author.
  • The number of references included in a Library is displayed at the bottom left of the Library Window.
