The Huxley and Auchmuty Libraries have a Departmental Photocopy Register which records details of authorised staff members and their usage of these photocopy cards. Some Postgraduate students may also be authorised to use this service.
To receive departmental photocopying privileges, please fill in a Staff Photocopy Authority Form, detailing your name, department, employment terms, contract completion date if relevant, and whether or not you are to receive photocopying privileges. This form must be signed and dated by the Head of Department, then brought in to the Loans Enquiries desk at any of the University Libraries. The same form can be used for both new and existing staff members.
Once you have presented the Authority Form at the Loans Enquiries desk, you will be able to do photocopying for your department. You will need to show your library card each time you want to use these photocopy cards so that Library staff can verify that you are authorised. Find the correct page for your department in the register located at the Loans Enquiries desk and fill in your name. A staff member will then give you the photocopy card for your department.
Once you have completed your photocopying, return the photocopy card to a Library staff member at the Loans Enquiries desk. Please do not leave the photocopy card on the desk. You must also fill in how many copies you have made and sign the register before leaving the library.
