Getting Started
Borrowing
Your student or staff card is your library card. Find out more about borrowing.
Logging on to computers on campus
Use your student or staff number and password to log on to computers. Find out more about Student Accounts or talk to the staff at the Library Information Desks.
Library PIN
You will need a library PIN to perform a range of tasks including requesting and renewing items, and accessing Short Loans Online, MyLibrary and Library databases. More information about creating and using your PIN is available from the PINS FAQ page, or ask staff at the Information Desk for assistance.
Printing and Photocopying
Add money to your student card to print or photocopy.
Finding resources
The library catalogue NEWCAT is where you start to look for books, e-resources, Audio Visual and other items.
Short Loans is where your lecturer may put recommended readings and items in high demand.
Use the Research Databases to find journal articles and scholarly information.
Can't find it in our catalogue? Try
to get books delivered from any of 10 participating Universities.
