Auchmuty Library Callaghan Campus

The Auchmuty Library is located on the Western side of the campus near the Shortland Union Building. The Loans and Short Loans desks are located on the main level (level 3). The Law and Biomedicine libraries are also located on Level 3.

The book collections are located on Level 4 in the Flowers Room and in Reading Rooms 1 and 2. The Audio Visual Collection is located in the Flowers Room

The Information Desk, Information Common, Bytes Cafe and Cultural Collections are located on level 2.

The Journal collection is located on Level 1.

AIC (Auchmuty Information Common)

Located on Level 2 Auchmuty Library, the AIC , which is open 24/7 during semester, provides access to scholarly information and resources in a relaxed, individual or group workspace.

Swipe card access is required for entry outside Library opening hours.

Wireless and laptop facilities, access to PCs and Macs, scanners, print/copy and laptop borrowing are available. Rovers assist with basic IT support. The Information Service Desk, newspapers and a café are also located in the AIC.
