Each year the University celebrates the remarkable achievements of our professional staff through the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Professional Staff Excellence. The awards are in recognition of the excellent work undertaken by staff.
 
The Ourimbah Library Team's Vice Chancellor's Award for Excellence recognises outstanding service to clients by all Ourimbah library staff during the renovation and opening of the extension to the Ourimbah Library.

This team is made up of Fatu Kigbo; Robyn Williams; Susan Zhang; Alicia Brand; Michael Marriott; Lorraine Miller; Leanne Wilkinson; Jennifer Shakespeare; Ruth Massey and Jacob McCorry.
 
Amanda Valent from the Callaghan Campus has received a Vice Chancellor's Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning 2012. Amanda’s citation recognises her work  as part of the Open Foundation by Distance Orientation Team  "for the development of an innovative online orientation for Distance Enabling students with an immediate and significant impact on student engagement and participation."
