Short Loans is for high use material and items are borrowed for 2 hours or overnight.
Material can be found in the Library catalogue Newcat by lecturer's name and by course name (as well as by title, author etc)..
Short Loans may contain:
We recommend you put all your online resources for a course into Short Loans and link from Blackboard to Short Loans - we'll look after the copyright issues for you.
It's usually as simple as sending an email to shortloansmanager@newcastle.edu.au including

There are 2 ways to borrow material from other libraries:
We have a resource sharing arrangement with a number of other Australian libraries. To borrow items from these libraries:
Get It is an online request system which allows you to request books and journal articles that we don't hold. You do not need to know where these items are held to ask for them.
You must register to use Get IT using the online form.
Requested material often arrives in electronic form so you can view it online through your Get IT service.
