The Engineering and Applied Science database contains the following Australian Databases:

ANSTI : Australian Nuclear Science & Technology Information. It contains bibliographic references, most with abstracts, to scientific and technical literature on the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology. Subjects covered include radiochemistry; nuclear applications in medicine, earth sciences, agriculture, biology and industry; radiation protection; radioactive waste management; nuclear law; economic, sociological and environmental aspects of nuclear and non-nuclear energy.

BUILD: Australian Building Construction and Engineering Database 1989-Feb 2002.
Note: This database has ceased but will remain as an archive.
Building, construction, engineering, including building research, materials and services, regulations, urban and regional planning, fire technology, administration, management and economics of building and construction.

CHERUB: Chemical Engineering Reference User Bibliography 1956+
A complete bibliographic reference source chemical engineering and related literature. Subject coverage includes design and operation of chemical plant and equipment, chemical process information, technical and economic feasibility information, process control, environmental considerations, mineral processing.

ENGINE: Australian Engineering Database1980+
Covers all branches of engineering including agriculture, aerospace, biomedical, chemical, civil, coastal computer, earthquake, education, electronic, geotechnical, mechanical, management, materials, structural, military, ocean railway, transport, and water.

ATRI: Australian Transport Index 1976+ (with some earlier records)
Australian material on roads and road related issues including publication records from various subject related libraries. Aslo included are road design and engineering, traffic and transport planning, traffic engineering and control, vehicle design and safety, road safety, soil and rock mechanics, economic and technological issues relating to roads and transport.

SCANFILE1978+
Australian and international coverage: all aspects of human resource management, science & technology policy, research and development management, social and economic issues of research and development, human resource management and the commercialisation of innovation.

STREAMLINE: Australia's Natural Resources Database 1982+
Indexes Australian and international Information on all aspects of natural resource management. Covers bthe sustainable management of land, urban and waste water, and irrigation systems. Land resources: prevention, management, rehabilitation. Water resources: river health and flow requirments, pollution, contamination, management of nutrients in catchment areas etc. are both covered comprehensively.
