Borrowing for Retired Staff

All ex-University of Newcastle staff who meet the following criteria are eligible for free membership.

Please Note: Membership DOES NOT include remote access to the internet or library databases.

Ex University of Newcastle staff who DO NOT meet the above criteria are eligible for standard Community Borrower membership

Borrowing Rights

50 books, 12 week loan. Limit of two renewals.
15 audiovisual items.
5 videos.
6 serials, 3 day loan. Limit of one renewal.
Items returned 42 days after the due date will be invoiced for the purchase cost.

Items available

Items from the general collections, including

3 day loan.
General Short Loans collections.
Huxley and Central Coast general AV collections.
Huxley videos.
Auchmuty AV.
A maximum of 10 items may be placed on hold and these will be held for collection for 5 days.

Exclusions
