Renewing your Loans

Using the 24 hour Automated Telephone Renewal Service:

Telephone 02 4921 6878*
easy to follow instructions
you require your student or Library number
can renew all loans or;
can renew individual items, but require the last 4 digits of the item barcode located on the front cover to the item

NB: Items that have holds, or have reached the maximum number of renewals cannot be renewed. Items that have holds should be returned by the due date. Items that do not have holds, but have been renewed the maximum number of times can be presented at the Loans desk for reborrowing.

*If you are located on the Central Coast you can renew your books on the local number 43484023 during Library opening hours.

Using NEWCAT:

View your record in MyLibrary
Type in your Student or Library card number and PIN, click on Display record…
Select the items you wish to renew
Click on the Renew Selected Items, or Renew All button
Scroll down the page to check that all items have been renewed

The following items cannot be renewed:

Items recalled or reserved for another patron
Items that have already been renewed the maximum number of times
Short Loans/ Reserve Collection material
