Off Campus Students
Postal Borrowers
Students living outside the Newcastle/ Lake Macquarie/ Central Coast/ Maitland/ Cessnock/ Port Stephens local government areas may request items to be sent to them via post. However, items requested can only be posted to an Australian address.
Library material you are unable to borrow:
- 1 week loans or short loans
- Archives, Rare Books & Special Collections
- Items missing from the shelves
- BONUS+
Requesting books and journal articles
To request books and journal articles, use Get It, our Interlibrary Loan service. Postal Borrowers initial due date is extended to allow for postage time - any consequent renewal is the same as for any other student.
You can also become a member and borrow from other Universities' libraries.
Renewing Loans
Loans may be renewed either by phone or online via MyLibrary.
Returning Loans
Return items by mail in padded envelopes to the Auchmuty Library. Allow enough time for return by the date due as fines will apply on overdue items. Students are responsible for the cost of return postage.
