Borrowing/ID Cards

Students:

Your student identification card will be issued upon payment of fees. This card is also your Library card.

Staff:

New staff should present a Staff Registration Form, signed by the Head of Department, to the Loans Enquiries Desk stating details of their employment.

Community borrowers:

Borrowing cards for TAFE students, Avondale College students, Community members and UBA clients will be issued upon presentation of appropriate documentation at the Loans Enquiries Desk. TAFE, Avondale, Community Borrowers and University of Newcastle Graduates can use the online Library Membership Application Form to register. Reciprocal Borrowers can find more information and application forms on the Reciprocal Borrowing Agreements page.

Please remember to carry your card at all times if you wish to borrow. Report any lost card to the Loans Desk staff immediately to prevent unauthorised use. Student replacement cards must be obtained from the Student Services Centre at the Callaghan Campus or from the Student Administration Building at the Central Coast Campus. Replacement cards for staff and external borrowers are available from the Library.
