Research Grants

The University of Newcastle publishes a current and detailed schedule of Research Grants via a centralised database called WARP

The research data published on WARP includes:

  • successful grants, administered by the University's Research Office;
  • publications data for selected publications categories from 1998 onwards, relating to the Researcher's position at the University of Newcastle;
  • general information relating to the skills and expertise of the Researcher.

Members of the public can access WARP to search for information relating to current research projects by using any of the following methods:

Keyword
Eg: Type Asthma into the keyword box and click search

Key phrase, but you must use double quotation marks
Eg: Type "sleep disorders" into the keyword box and click search

Name of Researcher
Eg: Type Johnson into the keyword box and click search

or

If you know the full name of the researcher, type the name using double quotation marks
Eg: Type "John Smith" into the keyword box and click search

Please note the WARP search tool is case sensitive. Enter the name of the Researcher using the Title Case to achieve the most accurate match to your request.
