Elections

Elections are conducted by the University Secretary (as Returning Officer) for various positions on University bodies (Councils, Committees, Boards etc). Many other bodies conduct their own elections for positions on those bodies. The list to the left only deals with those elections undertaken by the University Secretary (Deputy Vice-Chancellor [Services]).

Current Vacancies on Academic Senate

• A casual vacancy exists for the position of President of Academic Senate from 6 January 2009 to 31 March 2010. Nominations have now closed and a ballot will be conducted.  Voting papers will be required to reach the Returning Officer by no later than 5pm , Monday 1 December 2008.
