The University of Newcastle has negotiated site licences for the following products. A site licence allows staff and students of the University to download the software on to their personal computer at no cost to the individual.
Note: A current Uni-ID/Student Number and password are required to download this software.
The Windows XP client is suitable for Windows 7, however IT Services does not offer support for Windows 7.
NOTE: If an error message about a missing .dll file appears, the following patches should be installed: For Windows 7 or 8: For Windows XP or Vista
Download and unzip the annual licence renewal file and follow the instructions in the text file
NOTE: Users who install X5 should apply all program updates as they become available. These updates contain the latest updates and fixes.
