DEN Meeting Dates


	Meeting Schedule

The dates of quarterly Hunter Disability Education Network (DEN) meetings are advised through our email list, den-list, and notices are circulated to schools, VET, and Universities two weeks prior to the date of the meetings.

Additional annual meetings will be scheduled throughout the year to enable staff in the Taree, Tamworth, Upper Hunter and Central Coast areas to access and contribute to the development of the Network. Staff in these areas will be contacted by the RDLO.

Hunter Region Top

Meeting 1

When: Tuesday, 7th May 2002
Where: Special Education Centre, University of Newcastle
Directions: Turn right into the University campus at the eastern entrance (not the roundabout, go to the entrance with the traffic lights). You can purchase a parking ticket ($1.50) from the receptionist at the Centre (up until 4.30 pm), or pick one up from a vending machine on the left of the entry road. A ticket is necessary between the hours of 9.00 am and 5.30 pm.

From the entrance just follow the entry road in and turn right, and the Special Education Centre is the first building on the left after the front car parks, and opposite the on-campus accommodation blocks and their car parks. It's clearly signposted. At this time of day there should be ample parking out the front of the Centre (don't park in 'Reserved' spaces however), or go back to the student car park just before the Centre, on the same side of the road, and its only a short walk in.

For latecomers, the Conference Room is located off the foyer through the door to the left of the reception counter, up the stairs, and on the left. The Centre is located at K11 on the campus map which can be accessed at http://www.newcastle.edu.au/cwis/Admin/ppe/maps/campus_plan.gif
