Training and Support

The Adaptive Technology Centre provides one on one training in the use of all adaptive software and equipment available in the Auchmuty and Huxley Libraries. Once your technology needs have been assessed by Centre staff a training program will be developed and implemented. The aim of the training is to facilitate your independence as much as possible when working with the technology.

It is important to note that the Adaptive Technology Centre does not provide training in the detailed use of mainstream software applications. Assistance will be provided where possible in the use of software applications used in the University context.

Ongoing support will be provided by Adaptive Technology Centre staff to ensure that students continue to build their skills and develop and implement strategies which facilitate their success whilst at University.
