Complaints Questionnaire
Informal Student Complaint
Direct, open, and cooperative dialogues can often lead to a better understanding of the problem, and a quick and satisfactory resolution.
Example: You believe that your lecturer has not included an assessment item in your final course marks. Through speaking to or emailing your lecturer, this matter may be clarified and corrected, resulting in a quick and satisfactory resolution.
Tip: Keep notes of your actions and remember the principles of confidentiality apply to you as well as the other participant.
Can you resolve your complaint informally by speaking or writing to the person or group whose actions have given rise to the complaint?
