Medals Committee

The Medals Committee is a committee of the Vice-Chancellor and is responsible for receiving nominations for candidates for a University Medal. It is chaired by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic).

Why Medals exist

The University of Newcastle is committed to the awarding of the University medal to outstanding graduates of the University. University Medals are awarded to those students who have shown exceptional academic merit.
