Academic Integrity Committee

Meetings of the Academic Integrity Committee have been suspended.

The Committee was established by the Academic Senate. It is advisory to the Vice-Chancellor, the Academic Senate and the Faculties and Divisions through the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic).

The Committee has primary responsibility to advise on

• Leadership and Support for the Promotion of Academic Integrity
  • Induction and training of new and sessional academics in Academic Integrity
  • Promotion of good practice in teaching and learning to avoid misconduct
  • Communication with internal and external communities to ensure they are kept abreast with developments in academic integrity
• Leadership and Support for Student Academic Conduct Officers (SACOs)
  • Ensuring training, support and advice is available to SACOs
• Leadership and Support for Researchers on issues of Academic Integrity
  • Ensuring training, support and advice is available to researchers
