Faculty Board, Faculty of Business and Law
The Faculty Board, Faculty of Business and Law encourages and supervises the teaching, assessment and research activities of the Faculty. Its functions include the approval of academic content of new courses, of Faculty procedures and of the Governance and Management Protocol of each School of the Faculty.
The Faculty Board provides advice and refers matters to Academic Senate and is chaired by the Pro Vice-Chancellor, Business and Law.
Academic governance of the Faculty consists of the Faculty Executive Group which provides advice to the Pro Vice-Chancellor and a number of committees which report to the Faculty Board.
In the Faculty of Business and Law the following committees operate:
- Faculty Teaching and Learning Committee
- Faculty Research Committee
- Faculty Progress and Appeals Committee
The Faculty Board has also appointed an Academic Promotions Appraisal Committee as part of the "Promotion of Academic Staff, Policy, Procedures and Guidelines" (login required).
