Departmental Vehicles
The University has a fleet of vehicles that are operated by Faculties and Departments. These vehicles are locally managed in terms of their use.
It is the responsibility of the Head of Faculty/School/Division to ensure that any person authorised to drive a University-owned vehicle is the holder of a current drivers license acceptable in the State of New South Wales.
The Head of Faculty/School/Division has the responsibility to ensure that the correct servicing, maintenance and cleaning programs for vehicles are undertaken. Heads of Faculties/Schools/Divisions are also responsible for administrative procedures to control the operation of each vehicle.
In the event of an accident, it is the driver's responsibility to firstly inform the Police and then their Head of Faculty/School/Division. Please go to the Risk & Assurance Website for information regarding accidents, insurance and claim forms.
