Chaplaincy at Newcastle (Callaghan campus)

The Chaplaincy Centre is made available to people for spiritual and emotional well being. It is an open, welcoming place for all students and staff. Come in for a chat and a cup of coffee, make and meet friends, read magazines, borrow a book, or just sit and relax. Generally between 10am and 2pm, Monday through Friday, at least one chaplain will be available at the centre to offer guidance and assistance to students and staff in personal prayer, spirituality, and a host of other real life problems.

The Centre is used for a variety of activities by students and staff for quiet, reflective times and for social activities. Tea and coffee are always available for those who drop in, to meet others or for a few quiet moments. While the Centre has a life of its own, it is also the base for the work of the chaplains on the University campus. If you would like to be involved in one of these activities or worship, or if you would like to volunteer some time to work with the chaplains please call us.
