Mission

Aims and Objects

The Friends was formed to

foster an awareness of the University of Newcastle and its place in the community;
conduct activities, including fund-raising, to promote the interests of the University;
form a bridge between members of the general public and the University campus;
establish or re-establish, for all members of the public, contact with both the academic and social life of the University.
