International House
International house is unique in that it has a higher ratio of international to domestic students. This means that the 226 residents meet a wide range of people and form close friendships with people from diverse nationalities.

Living Arrangements
International House is divided into units of five, six and ten bedrooms. Each resident has a private bedroom and shared access to kitchen, bathroom and dining/lounge facilities. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, study desk, shelves, chair, mirror, notice board, desk lamp and heater. Residents are advised to bring their own linen and may wish to bring their own stereo, clock, photos, towels and hangers. The dining and lounge area is a popular area for student to socialise, relax and eat their meals with dining tables, chairs, lounge chairs, coffee tables and a television provided. Kitchens are fully equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, kettle, toaster, electric fry pan, microwave oven, electric stove and fridge/freezer. Residents are also provided with a pantry space to store their non perishable food items.
Services and Facilities
International House has a common room known as “The Green Room.” This area is well equipped with a stereo system, television, pay TV, video, DVD player, CD player, lounge suits and coffee tables, piano and table tennis. International House also has a swimming pool adjacent to the Green Room open 8:00am – 10:00pm during the warmer months. There are also three covered BBQ areas with picnic tables.
Food Service
International House students enjoy five meals a week (Monday – Friday) from 5.30pm – 7.30pm. Individual dietary requirements can be catered for.

Members Association
All people residing in International House are automatically members or the International House Members Association, IMA. Events regularly organised by the IMA include meet and greet night, theme nights, murder week, talent quest and international functions.
Social Events
International house residential assistants organise a number of events including multi cultural dinners, soiree, art exhibit, community activities and peer tutoring.
