Edwards Hall, or “Teds” for the initiated, can house a grand total of 383 residents. 298 of these are main hall rooms with catering and 85 are self catered beds in unit style buildings.

Living Arrangements
All Ted’s residents have a private room and a shared bathroom with showers and toilets. Main hall residents have a shared tearoom and self catered residents have a shared kitchen facility with all the requirements for food preparation. Tearooms have a microwave, fridge, instant hot water and sinks for quick and easy food preparation. All rooms have a single bed, large study table, ergonomic office chair, study lamp, heater, wardrobe and storage for books and personal items. Bring your own bedding (pillow, bed linen, doona, and towel), and get your parents to teach you how to do your own washing.
Services and Facilities
A recreation room, TV room, foosball table, pool table, outdoor swimming pool, table tennis and television lounges are available for communal use by all residents. For residents with an interest in music, a practice room containing a piano and a keyboard is located in the forsythe cellar, along with foxtel, DVD player, music equipment and lounges. A design room is a new addition for those students that need extra room to work on practical assignments.

Food Service
Main hall residents are lured out of bed with a continental breakfast in the combined colleges dining hall on weekdays between 7.45am and 9.30am, and on weekends between 9.00am and 1.00pm (insider tip – hot food starts at 11:00am on weekends and there is also a hot breakfast on Fridays). Dinner is available in the evenings between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
College Life
Members Association
All Ted’s students are automatically members of the Resident Members’ Association (RMA). The Committee and the Chairman 0f the RMA are elected annually in accordance with the Association’s Constitution. The RMA Committee acts as a major communication link between members of the hall and the Manager of Residential Life.
Social Events
Edwards Hall has several formal dinners throughout the year, traditionally at the start and end of each semester. College residents gather in academic dress which is provided in each room. One such dinner is the Graduation Dinner. The RMA also organises functions such as Gender Bender, Wineries Tour, Back to School, Retro Night, Garden Party and Hall Ball.
