Blue Gum House

Blue Gum House was opened in 1998 and can accommodate up to 26 residents. There are two units with six bedrooms and two units with seven bedrooms. Blue Gum units are named after four of our Australian wildlife Bilby, Koala, Platypus and Wombat.

Living Arrangements

Each Blue Gum resident has a private room with a single bed and an en-suite. Blue Gum rooms also contain a wardrobe, study desk, shelves, chair, mirror, noticeboard, desk, lamp and heater. Kitchen, dining and lounge facilities are shared with other members of the unit. Residents are advised to bring their own linen and may wish to bring their own stereo, clock, photos, towels and hangers.

Services and Facilities

The dining and lounge area is a popular area for students to socialise, relax and eat their meals with dining tables, chairs, lounge chairs coffee tables, television, DVD player, play station and foxtel. Kitchens are fully equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, kettle, toaster,electric fry pan, microwave oven, electric stove and fridge/freezer. Residents are also provided with a pantry space to store their non perishable food items.
